Benefits of Chair Yoga
One of the reasons I teach Chair Yoga is to provide a practice for students who have difficulty getting down on & back up using a yoga mat. Chair Yoga will increase the strength in your legs. I have several chair students who are now able to use the yoga mat!
You will attain better flexibility throughout your body. Through this you will move your body with ease.
Through the breathing practices we do, you will have greater lung capacity.
If you have cold hands & feet, chair yoga may be for you since it provides more flowing circulation.
We end the class with a progressive relaxation & meditation which will calm your mind.
